I got an appointment for my local dealer, through RAM. The rep told me, that the dealership would get the parts needed, and do the repair. Well, I get the appointment, 2 months later. Go to dealer, service adviser, tells me " we will inspect and weld jamb nut" "that's the repair" I discussed, very calmly, that I had already talked to RAM about this. Nobody was to weld on my truck, which is not a repair at all. This morning, I recalled RAM and now am being told this is the repair. That also I would have to go to the dealership, for inspection and "welding" of the part. Both advisers on the phone, refused to help me. The second also started getting hostile and started talking in his slang. Which was using words that don't exist He went on to tell me, I was misinformed by prior representatives, I spoke with. I asked to speak to someone else who would be able to better help me. The first advisor, who was polite, sent my call to a dead line. The second adviser told me he would have a supervisor call me back and then hung up. I am furious with how this was handled. I expect to replace the part myself, with an aftermarket part. Does any one out there have an address or phone number I could use to call FCA directly and vent about this any just possibly get this straightened out.
