I just had to order new batts for my 13. They haven't been right since my alt burned up two years ago. Above 35 degrees they will start normal below it'll barely crank and throws all kinds of strange codes and the CEL lamp. Rock Auto had the best price even with the shipping only funny thing was both batts were shipped at the same time the same day one showed up two days early the other still on it's way... FED EX is very lacking.....

Did you have a chance to get those Mopar part numbers off your AGM batteries ?

I'm not blowing you off I'll post the numbers when my new Batts come in and I swap them out later in the week. I've got a few projects that need my attention at the moment.

I have been satisfied with the Mopar branded 2 year unlimited mileage batteries as well.

Correct.
I received only 34 months out of my OEM batteries in The Radio Flyer, but 200,193 miles, 318 idle hours, and 3,709 drive hours. I opted to go back with OEM MOPAR’s with a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty. The part number was BB94R750CA.

My '07 batteries are still alive in a 12v.
I got a good deal on Sears Platinums about 5 years ago and they're doing well.
I traded an install for my Mop's.

The main reason i bought the mopar ones is because i didn't know if they were supposed to be AGM and i really didn't want to buy the wrong battery for a nearly $50,000 truck and take chances on the dealer aaying i blew something by buying the wrong battery. So i had the dealer look it up by VIN

This battery thing is just plain crazy, some say they have AGM OE batteries, some say they have the standard battery. So your 2013 has what batteries ???

Pretty sure I have standard batteries, sure nothing on the top that tells me I have AGM . They have been great so far nearly five years old, no complaints.

We do have EDankievitch claiming his OE on his 2013 are AGM's

And some trucks MAY have had AGM batteries and others sealed lead acid batteries and others yet conventional lead acid batteries possibly based on trim models or even oem supplier changes at the time of manufacture of the truck.

Either way, buy yourself a battery of the correct group size for your truck and NO dealership is going to be able to deny your truck warranty service based on that purchase. Obviously still, by the best quality that you can afford!!!

And if you don't want to think about it much more for a awhile, by a battery of the correct group size made by East Penn !!! LOL

I think you are correct, its pretty obvious we don't all have the same OE battery . The one thing for sure is if one has to charge a battery thats in the truck, its a pretty good idea they know what battery they have. AGM takes a different mode on a battery charger to recharge.

The batteries in my 03 lasted 15 yrs. But I had an Espar and rarely used the grid heater.(BTW wonderful setup). With the new trucks you have no choice, as the push button starts dictates the grid heater cycling . And that frequency might be the reason for a shorter battery life. IMHO.

Care to amend your post? Especially since all the online Mopar sites list the same battery.

Same battery as in listed as conventional.

Thanks . Apparently none of the 4th generation Rams have had AGM . I am sure mine are not "now". I think at this point when the time comes I will mostly likely go with the conventional Interstate from Costco, availability, price, and warranty.

Deka batteries sound tempting if I can purchase locally, or even the Cat batteries , they sound like a decent one also
