So my 2004 went 7 years and 300,000 km before I had to get new batteries.
My 2016 went 2.5 years and 115000km and batteries where dead this morning. Should have known since the radio was acting weird the last couple of days, as well as the remote start started the truck but then immediately shut itself off.....
I am in Canada and got 2 new batteries for $ 500 Canadian after tax with 930 CCA. They also have a 5 year warranty sold by Canadian tire.....better leave the receipt in the truck I figure.....
If you buy a new Mopar battery, not only will you pay close to $200 a piece but you will get a terrific 2 year free replacement. Yes, 2 year, not 3 year. That should tell you, what Mopar thinks of their "Maintenance Free" junk. (that's maintenance free till the water evaporates below the plates)
