wire what wire?

Just wanted to know what you guys think about Pequea Trailers. I am considering purchasing a G-10 to haul my truck to the drag strip. Any opinions or comments?

Thanks,

Doug

The folks that built my barn had a Pequea tandem tagalong. They showed up with a decent sized skid loader, bucket, forks, backhoe and hydraulic auger on it. Normal course of operation for them. The trailer looked well made. They make them somewhere around Lancaster don't they? You maybe can go see the factory.

Some other choices: PJ and H&H http://www.hhtrailer.com/indexmain.html Hit the farm show for some good prices. I don't recall Cox out of Maryland being at the farm show but he was at the following horse show with good prices on the PJ's.

Doug, I see Pequea trailers behind lots of landscapers I pass. I believe they are made in Texas. They are not a bad trailer for the price. I bought a 20' 10,000 lb deck-over trailer last year. I did a lot of research and almost bought a Pequea. In the end I went with Zimmerman out of New Holland pa. They custom build every trailer to exactly what you want, including axle type, the deck hight, with, and length, as well as any type of ramp setup. The Zimmerman ended up costing about $400. more than a similar Pequea, but it was worth it for all of the custom work including custom painting.

If the Pequea suits your needs I would go for it. They are the best bang for the buck from what I have found. If you are looking more for something more made to order I would recommend Zimmerman. Just something to consider.
