I don't post much because I'm not very computer savvy, but I'm really excited about my new truck. It's a '91 non I/C W350 with a three-speed auto. I picked it up out of Utah for $400 because it had transmission problems. Turns out it was just a bad heat exchange and all the transmission fluid went to the radiator and coolant to the transmission. It was a huge mess and took a lot of flushes to get everything cleaned up. But the transmission shifts smooth and seems like it's working right. I'm excited to have a first gen again. I had a '90 W250 years ago and have regreted selling it ever since.

This is the worst part of the body on the passenger fender. Is this fender worth repairing or am I better off just getting another fender? I plan to repaint the truck in the future when I have more money.

Auto Trans

Just be prepared for a auto trans overhaul as anti freeze dissolves the clutch material on the bands and clutch plates. The trans might be working fine now but it will eventually fail. Cannot beat the $400 price tag. Enjoy your new Dodge !!!! Replace the fender, cheaper and easier than repairing what you have.

Well, the man upstairs must be looking out for you. Congrats and good luck with the truck. Your fender would be better to replace rather than repair.

Those first two pics you posted make you extremely computer savvy!!!

What beautiful background and country. Either of those pics should be in the TDR calendar next year.

$400, you got an entire truck with a 12V motor for less than most of us pay for a CAI... what a smokin deal !!! Congrats.

At $400, you stoled it. What you posted sounds very computer savvy to me.

Thanks for the comments guys. My wife did all the posting and typing, as she is right now. I don't know, I might get into this computer thing a little more.

Father in law was in a recent fender bender with his 90's F150. Cost to repair minor damage to the fender was more than the $1000 American Made replacement fender. Total cost of all repairs were more than truck was worth. Substituted the $1000 American fender for Chinese $120 Fender. Insurance then covered repairs vs totaling the truck.

you are a lucky man! Look at the Stock original Injection pump, it doesn't even look like anyone ever touched the tamper proof cap on the smoke screw! What a nice stock find! AND you have a w350 SRW which means you have the strongest tallest frame ever put in a reg cab 1st gen. How many miles are on that one.

Thanks guys, Yes the pump still has all of it's tamper proof caps, as far as I can tell the whole truck is stock. It has 215,000 miles. I didn't know that about the frame that's pretty cool. I found a new fender for $90 that is the way I will go when I'm ready for paint. The backdrop is right here on the ranch, It's a great veiw but it sure is a deep freeze around here. Block heaters and grid heaters are our friends.
