On our way to the Snake River (Hells Canyon) this summer. We averaged 10. 5 mpg on the 1000 mile roundtrip. Truck, camper, passengers and boat/trailer weigh in at 16,000 lbs.

The main reason I run them is for rear steer, no way a rear steer 60 would hold up for me. Not to mention they are extremely stout, great for driveshaft clearance and angle, great for diff clearance, hold up to full hydro steering, I could go on and on.

here is a picture of my truck before i left Vegas to move my stuff to Oregon. Everything weighed around 15,000. It towed really good for my first time with it. Yeah i know that's my old chevy back there.
