WOWZY , where i work we call it "G jobs" ... , but yes you are correct , ground at one end and wraping with alum. foil would be a good idea , but the new realease is trouble free for me ...

Dyno numbers you say? Got um right here in my pocket #ad
The Power Edge is giving me 100 hp at the rear wheels on my truck. Just got home and I need a generation of sleep or so. We went from 350 stock to 450 hp with the PE. 600 horsepower total in full trim. Not bad for a six gun eh?

HVAC. . not bad for a puney little overvalved, overwired, factory impaired cloud maker #ad
#ad
... so what's next did I hear 700 HP anyone ???
Congrats. on the ####'s would like to have been there
Did Adam get there ??

First off all, I have to thank Brett from PE products for coming all the way from Utah for only a 7 hour get together, and for helping to install a box on my truck. I am not pushing any products here, so all you naysayers please refrain from taking jabs at this newbie. I gotta tell you though, I went from 222. 7hp and 439. 6 fp to 317. 7 and 653. 1 with the PE on level 3 with no transmission upgrades as of yet! The tc locked up just fine, but I know this will not last and transmission upgrades will be done soon which will probably increase the numbers slightly or so I was told. Thanks to all the guys there for their sound advice and their wisdom relating to the truck in general. I learned more in that one day then I can ever remember. Hopefully to see ya'll in centeral Ca. in October.

WOW!!! What a day we had #ad

Brett had to be proud of this coming out party for the Power Edge #ad
I remain impressed #ad

This was my first trip to the dyno with the PE, and even throwing my unorthadox truck out of the equation, the results we witnessed on the other fellas trucks were awesome! We continually saw dyno results just a tick under 100 horsepower! Like Paul posted above, he had an improvement of 95 horsepower. Way #ad
!

We also saw the coninued evolution of the product in the form of the multi LED face on the module. Now, you can tell at a glance which program you are in since there is a separate and different colored LED for each of the three programs. Nice #ad

In retrospect I wish we would have been taking some video of the occasion. It would have been a strong statement documenting how formidable this device really is.

Thanks to Jim at Mechtech Motorsports for hosting this gathering and Mike Vonada for organizing things. Thanks to all the great people who came down to be part of the fun. Thanks to Edge Products for a neat product, sorry you could not be there Taylor.

Just want to echo HVAC and Pauls thanks. Jim at Mechtech was a great host #ad

Brett coming down from Utah impressed me and I need to say for all of you that haven't met this guy he is first caliber, easy to see why they have a first class product.

Need to thank a guy behind the scenes that really set this all up and that was Jon Klaasen, he is good friends with Jim at Mechtech and really got this going, thanks Jon!! #ad
#ad

Also would like to thank Barry Horners wife for documenting all the data for us, so we can put it out in a future article.

The Edge is an awesome product!!!! Try and get that many ponies out of one product for the money spent!!

HVAC, I did get a citiation from the sourthern california air resources board, something about 50 billion particules of something being dumped into the air during your runs #ad

Hi to all, it seems that my clutch isn't slipping with the Hot Edge on #2 anymore. I haven't run it in Hot #3 for about a week. I wonder if I glazed the clutch in the Hot3 setting and was the cause of me being able to slip it in #2? Anyone have any idea?

My cluch slips in both 2&3 and if i try I can slip it in level 1 also. So until I get a new clutch the PE is off or in level 1. I'm leaning toward the 1000# clutch that Blue Chip sells. It sounds like a good clutch and the price isn't too bad either. has anyone else heard of or using this clutch.

I think that with the PE on #3 setting (standard not HOT) that I'm at or close to 900 ft. lbs. at the flywheel, maybe even a little higher.

Hi to all, I just recieved my newest Hot Edge with the NEW Triple LED's and installed it this morning.

Its great being able to see what level you're in at a glance and the best part is that you can scroll about 3 times faster through the levels. Also after you get to the level desired, you can just let go of the button the instant that the LED lights up and it's on.
The new LED's are as follows;<font size=+4><font color=green> . <font color=orange> . <font color=red> . <font color=black>

<font size=-1>LEVEL 1)"<font color=green>Green<font color=black>"
LEVEL 2)"<font color=orange>Orange<font color=black>"
LEVEL 3)"<font color=red>Red<font color=black>"

Thanks Brett for an even Greater product!

Just installed my PE last night. This is the way our trucks are meant to run!!! #ad
No towing yet and to early to tell about stalls yet, but this thing sure works as advertised. I will be calling PE and asking to be put on the list for the new unit that advances timing also. Install went well. Toughest part was trying to connect the MAP sender connector that was loose to the new Connector, also loose with one hand. Also the little brass connector that goes around the #16 fuse terminal no way would go in. Then looking at the fuse I carefully ground down the end of the connector to match the profile of the fuse spade…still leaving enough metal to solidly wrap around the fuse spade and It went right in. #ad
Great product. #ad
I guess I need to renew my hunting license (PSD) #ad
Will be towing this weekend. I will report EGT's , Boost and mileage next week. Time to go play.

Wowzy, are you and HVAC long lost brothers?

I don't think you guys ever miss a post. How do guys have enough time to try everything new and then spend all this time telling us about it?

Well I went on my first road trip with the PE installed. I have got to tell you that this is the ticket to make your truck go. I don't tow anything but here is the story anyway. The trip I took takes me up a 5 mile long hill that the truck would normally downshift out of overdrive and slowly decelerate on (at the very steep part). With the PE in level one the cruise control held 75 in ovedrive and at the real steep part I pushed the peddle to the metal and it took off like a rocket. I can not imagin what it would have done in level three, but I am not trying tell my gauges get here and installed. The bad news is that my truck stumbled a couple of times and now I have to swap my PE out, no big deal, for this kind of performance I would swap it out on a weekly basis if necessary. On the MPG front, it is getting better. The PE seems to have no effect or a positive effect. Drove 490 miles and got 17. 3 mpg and gettting better. Thanks Bret and HVAC.

Still on Vacation, just an update that my clutch is still slipping on every PE setting.

I guess I could turn it off, but what is the fun of that. . !! #ad
#ad

I installed the Hot PE last night. What a difference! I can't believe it but the clutch holds fine, but the egt's can get out of control in a hurry. Time for 4" exhuast.

HVAC, we know the PE can handle different programs. The PE will wait for boost before fueling. Can the waiting time be reduced? I know more smoke would be present. If the module waits to see some number of boost, can that number be lowered?
