Anyone care to reveal the secret to removing the afore mentioned pod from the door panel? After reading that it is an integrated and unrepairable unit, I am reluctant to experiment.
Thanks

It pops right out. The switches and plate are are all replaceable. Anyone know of a conversion from electric to manual windows? I would like to keep my electric locks, but hate the electric windows. I would like to keep the pockets and cloth door panels, though.

Once you get the switches out, take them apart and clean them. Use 400 grit sand paper and clean the contacts, then put just a dab of silicone dielectric grease on all the contacts. This works, I've done it to mine and since I started putting grease on them, I haven't had to redo. Good Luck!
