Some of you running a auto transmission with Smarty may want to adjust your T/V cable for desired shifts. I was running a little slack in mine and took up about 1/16" and shifts are right where I want.

The Smarty is working great with the tst and wakes up the Sled puller. The smoke is controllable on sws #4 and #5 and still fun to drive.

I wish there was a way to turn the timing off on the tst and let the Smarty do the timing.

Just got Smarty today, Download went great--I will drive in a few minutes. I have a question about ABS and tire size. I had this changed at the dealer with the DRB3 and it was set to 618 revs per mile. Now after the load it shows 32. 80, Does this mean I need to re-enter the tire height with the Smarty and when I go back to stock it will be like before?

Marco, when are you planning on updating your website to include the SmartyCR programs? Even the one shipped with the Smarty? Would be nice to know that a person could flash it with a "known good" program to ensure you have the latest and greatest software.

I need the exact same thing. Love the Smarty, I just need a way to help control the low boost smoke. I am running the 30 hp file now. It is very hard to take off from a start and not smoke out the car behind. Not that it sometimes has it's place. :-laf

I had to also reprogram my foot. I was use to just stabbing the peddle at the light and the fuel comming on when it got ready. I now have to use a lighter touch and can leave with little smoke and leave quicker. With the Smarty you control the fuel the way I like it.

I just found out It can be done. I have the older pmcr that can't be upgraded but there is a way to turn off the timing buy changing arround some of the wiring in the timing harness. I have heard the timing is crazy in the 04. 5s and the Smarty takes care of this. I can tell a differance when I run a sw that does the timing. The truck starts with just a bump of the starter and runs smoother and lower EGTs.

I get a P0602 when I try to go back to stock and the truck is not running well at all, like the stock software is just not taking. Smarty itself doesn’t give any error codes. All seems to be fine with it. The truck has been sitting for a couple days now, so I'll try it again this afternoon when I get off work. If I still have issues, I'll give you a call. I don’t have to head home till Friday, so not a huge deal at this point.
