So I really like what I've read about the Spyntec kit and reviews have been good. I like the fact their kit seems to seal the ABS ring/sensor the best but do not like the Mile Marker hub as I'd prefer the Warn Premium hub to match my D60 Jeep hubs.

I've read up a little bit on the Yukon kit and haven't really seen any negative, they do come with the Warn Premium Hub lockout at no extra cost but not so sure their kit seals off the ABS sensor/ring as well.

Anyone have direct experience with both of these kits? Going to be ordering one of them this week and have ruled out the Dyna Trac mainly due to cost.

I have the same questions. As of right now, I'm still in the "Buy Cheap", "Ya buy twice" mode so I can't make a decision either.

Most of the yukon stuff is made in India.

Can't speak on those brands, but I've got about 30,000kms on EMS hubs, and haven't touched them since I put them on and locked and unlocked them dozens of times throughout the past winter. If I remember right, some of the parts looked like they were the same as the Yukon set. They have the same premium Warn hubs to I beleive.

I have about 30K miles on spyntec dually hub kit and have pounded the living hell out of it at our ranch. Excellent kit and holding up great. Would do it again without blinking an eye ! I have submerged my axles, wrapped lots of junk around some of the rotating parts and if not have the ABS ring protected, would be spending money on replacement parts. Spyntec costs a little more, however when you look at the kit for a dually, its WORTH IT !

Very robust and well made. I had an issue that required to remove hub to get the axle back out. Did it without have to disassemble the hub, bearing, etc. , took the locker off, removed the 4 bolts on the axle carrier and slid the whole setup off with a transmission jack (heavy when full assembled). replaced the bad u-joint and slid it all back together. Can not do that with the other kits.

I didnt mean the india stuff was bad it is just all I know about them. We had a set of there axle shafts and it said made in india. I have the spyntec on mine.

I've installed both Dynatraxx and Spyntec kits on a few trucks. Both kits work well. One Spyntec kit was missing a bearing and a seal and one Dynatraxx kit was shipped with the wrong locking hubs. Both Co's made good on the missing and mismatched parts in a timely fashion. Now the first two trucks have been back for break service (100,000 miles after the kit install) everything came apart on the Dynatraxx truck with out use of a cutting torch. I can't say the same for the Spyntec kit. The rotors were almost wielded on the hubs with rust, had to cut and split them to get them off. [ /I]

Maybe this is a good note to future users of the kits to add some anti sieze to the mating surfaces of the rotors and any other tight fitting parts. The EMS kit instruction have you put anti sieze on the oem spindle opening that the spindle fits into for this reason, but I don't recall any mention of the rotor mounts. But I suppose this could be a bad thing to have anti sieze on any part of the rotor because it will get hot enough to fling it out and end up on the pads and rotor.

I'm not sure if antisize would help with how the spyntec hubs had rusted... . They were a snug fit when they were new the rust just made them snugger.

Well I ended up letting my buddy talk me into the Yukon kit as it's what he's done the most of and pricing was better including the Warn premium hubs which means now I have a spare for the Jeep when I tow it somewhere to go play or vice/versa.

Kit installed well and with the dually the lock-out hub doesn't even come out but maybe 1 1/4" from the face of the wheel which the lugnuts stick out further.

I haven't even run a full tank of diesel through to see if I'm getting any mileage gains but the real reason was for future serviceability and better driving manners, which combined with the Carli lifetime ball joints and fresh new Michelin XDS2's in the front, it's driving very very nicely down the highway. Oo.

The more you drive the better you will like the way your trucks handles with the steering wheel. Great choice with the Yukons.

Totally worthless without pics:)

I have been looking at kits and like the spyntech, despite the MM hubs. I like how it's not a retrofit of D60 stuff, but designed for the AAM setup.

Yukon is basically the same engineering-wise, just slightly different materials/coatings and tolerances. You can get the Spytech without the MM hubs and then just buy the Warn premium ones, I was real close to that option before my buddy talked me into just doing the Yukon's.

For what its worth. I have had the Spyntec kit on my truck now for well over a year. Still running strong without any issues. I just repacked my bearings about a month ago and it is still as easy to take down as it was the original install. Me, i am partial to the Spyntec kit, but that is becasue that is the one I have. If you have any questions about the Spyntec kit i am currently running, please let me know.
