One of the better tidbits of advice someone gave was the "don't fall victim to the bigger is better" trap. Experiment with a smaller unit, find out what you like (need) and what you don't like (need) and upgrade.
Dragging a 34" fifth wheel to Alaska is no vacation, especially if you are right on the edge of what you can safely tow with your truck. On the other hand, if your towing something smaller you literally do almost forget its there with the CTD.
