I know someone who changed their stock polished aluminum rims off for something else, and they wanna sell them to me. I don't know the year of their truck, it's definately a third gen though. But it is a SRW 3500, and mine is a '03 2500.

My question is, will the rims off of a SRW 3500 third gen ( ? year ), fit a '03 2500?

TIA

Jeff

Yea the 3rd gen stock alloys or chrome clad are all 17x8 and interchangeable. I have had two sets of chrome clad steel 2003 and 2004, one set non polished alloy 2004, one set polished alloy 2006 and now 2006 Power Wagon polished alloys.

I have bought and sold all of the wheels and some tire combos I mentioned above. I have come across some very good deals the last few years and some not so great. But I have always either made money on what I bought or got my money back. I paid $400 for two of the alloy sets and got one Chrom clad set with caps for $125. The Power Wagon alloys with stock BFG All Terrain A/T 285s I currently have was probably one of the best deal I have ever made. A friend at the local 4wheelparts new I was planning on switching to stock alloys and BFG 285s, called and said a boys father was paying for lift, wheels and tire upgrade on new Power Wagon and wanted to know if I was interested in making an offer for the take offs with 3,000 miles. I said sure see what they are willing to take. I was will to go as high as $1000-$1100 as that was what the BFG 285s were going to cost and I liked the Power Wagon wheels. Called and said he would take $550 for the tires and wheels. Done deal.
