Thanks, I should not have posted this here but on the black page. Good thing about white also is not only does it look clean, but it hides
small dings and is easy to fix. Black shows everything. I carry a duster.

Remember when the NEW design was introduced, 2nd Gen trucks the RED and SILVER combination, on all the adds. This is mine. this is a old picture now have a 5ver.

Especially in Yuma AZ. in the middle of June or July for the matter.

Gee, what happened to August and September?

I mentioned June and July because I was thinking of my Father in Law.
He passed away in June several years ago. (come to think about 12yrs ago.) any way the day he passed away we were in downtown Yuma at 2315hrs. (11:15pm) it was 127 degrees on the bank clock @ I-8 and Hwy 95. We went back to get most of his belongings in July and when we left there at night it was jsut as hot. Yes you are correct August and September, are just as bad if not worse. :-laf :{

Sorry to hear about your father in law. :(

The heat in August in most places in AZ can reach 120*+ easily, I have launched my boat @ 125* at Lake Mojave many times. That's why I love the high idle feature on my trucks, while I'm prepping my boat and stowing the gear, I have a nice cool truck. I can't imagine what a black truck would be like, after sitting in the heat for a couple of hours, especially with the 3rd gens poor AC.

My first car was white and it is still my favourite colour for vehicles. Dark colours look OK but are to hard to keep clean where we live.
This is my 03 which now has a new home. My current one is Red but when you buy used you can't be too picky.
