I flushed my entire brake system with new Valvoline type 3/4 synthetic fluid.
WOW what a difference!.
I had no idea my brakes were getting progressively worse till I changed the fluid. :--)
It is the best 5 bucks and 1 hour upgrade yet!.
The pedal is right tight up at the top.
Feels like a brand new truck!
I did the poor man style flush and bleed.
1) Removed all the old fluid from the Master cyl. and wiped clean with lint free paper towels.
2) Added new fluid.
3) Opened all the bleeders.
4) Connected clear plastic tubing to the bleeders and ran the tubing into old oil containers for proper disposal/recycling.
5) I then pumed the brakes with the bleeders open while adding fluid as needed.
6) After I had used about 16 oz. of fluid I did a standard pump it 3 times and bleed proceedure. starting from the right rear wheel.
Great results!
