Yeah, there's a contractor here on base that has 3 indentical 04 Power Strokes and they all have CAT plates on the front... The other day the crews where out BSin' on the side of the road so I thought I's show how a real diesel sounds. I was in a 20MPH zone 3rd gear singing about 1900/2000 RPMs, SPS 62 singing DEEP through that 5 inch turbo back stright piped and stacked. One guy even gave me a thumbs up. Sometimes I guess we can't pick what we drive at work, but at least there's one guy in that group with good taste. :-laf By the way I have a stainless plate with a Blue "C"ummins emblem with red "Turbo Diesel" under that.
you can bet your *** that whenever i see another modded cummins, even if its only a ****ty tip on his exhaust, ill go by him with a huge grin and a big thumbs up. any cummins or powerstroke thats slightly modded at all gets me happier than heck... . going to the diesel nationals each year is just crazy for me :-laf :-laf
I joke with my wife that I am going to put a push bar on mine to help out the needy :-lafDZink24 said:When you see a half ton (or larger) truck hauling or towing a load that is obviously too large for it to handle, and you actually feel sorry for it, and wish you could hook it to you and help them out a bit.

you can name what type of diesel engine/truck before you even see it.
Someone comments to you how loud your truck is and you reply, with a grin and a chuckle, "Ain't it, though!"
Regardless of outside temperature, you still roll down the passenger window when in tunnels, under bridges, or beside Jersey walls, just so you can listen to your truck.
