Finally, Finally, Finally..... I think I'm about done.
I had to replace the air compressor, the old one smoked it self. Really the problem started with a bad control valve that let it run to high of a pressure. I replaced it with the same model as before, a Quick Air II. This one lasted for 6-7 years and and would have been even longer if it weren't for fate, so I'll stay with it. The new one does make pressure fast!
I have everything mounted and hooked-up. I rolled around on the floor the other day tightening all the suspension bolts with the load of the truck on them. Gee, I hate that... . sore for two days after. Everything seems to be working, and really the only thing left is a trip to the alignment shop. I did decide to change the oil, by-pass filter and so. There was hardly any miles, just time on them. I have some more tire valve extensions on the way. the one I installed yesterday are just not long enough. I have that 4" spacer, and the normal 7-8" line is too short. i ordered another set of 8-1/4" lines and 2-3-1/4" metal extenders, that should allow me enough length to figure out where they should go and then how they should mount. That normal little SS clip that goes between the holes on the rims will not work. I'll fashion a mount and drill and tap the wheel to hold it in place.
I took some more pictures, gee this should do even the most eager TDR fan. Till the next time,
Oh yell... heres my new welder
