AGM batteries?

I had the old Optima's in my 98.5 3500. I typically did 100-500 miles off road with it ever year. Also had 19.5 wheels on it that rode really rough all the time. The AMG batteries really held up. You can get other manufactures. Look for ones that have MIL SPEC #'s. They are the ones that can be used in USAF fighter planes. There is a supplier in Walnut Creek CA. I don't remember the name off the top.

My factory ones lasted 3yrs. My 1rst set of Optimas 5. 5 yrs. 2nd set 6.5 yrs
3rd set almost 6 yrs.
4rth set bought at Auto Zone (good price.) See how long these last . No off roaring, but running the bi- ways and high ways.
