AFE rep said the BHAF was a piece of...

Swepco Gear Oil

Attention..... Group buy is A-OK

Ok, here's what we can do. We can get them for $110 plus $10 for shipping. So who would be interested? I need to determine how many we can get. :)

Here is how to return oil from a "By-pass" oil filter system to a 12 Valve engine "Fill" Cap.

Here is how a BY-PASS oil filter is connected in "Parallel" with "FULL-FLOW" Filter.

NOTE: This is not a very good picture, but it may do someone some good to see how these work together.

This is NOT a Frantz setup, but it is how all external By-Pass oil filters are connected

And a shot with no TP in it. Note: there is an o-ring between the halves, and the unit ships with a spare one. There is also a mounting bracket that comes with it... attaches to the tabs on the bottom. I didn't bother to take a pic of it.

For those 3rd gen guys who might be watching, I will say that I've had some trouble running the return line to the filler cap, due to it's 2-piece design. Here's a pic of the disassembled cap. There's also a spring inside there, but my drill press ate it when I tried to drill holes in both halves.

To make a long story short, here's what I have come up with so far. It uses a 1/8 NPT elbow and a 1/8 male/female adaptor for oil flow. The bottom half of the cap has been screwed to the top half (notice 3 screws radially).
