DEF/SCR system failure , need some info

Copy that guys, I'll let you know how it goes . If they change any parts I will get the old ones . I usually do .. had rockers and cam changed under warranty on my Jeep recently and asked for parts out of curiosity and to go on my " offerings to the gods of speed " shelf . Was bummed when I got them in the bag that the replacement rockers came in and read "Made in China" . SMDH

Out of curiosity, was the cam and rockers on a 3.6?

Yup ... 2015 Jeep Wrangler ... driver side head ... I new it needed a head when I brought it in ...BUT Chrylsler opted for the rocker/cam /lifter repair ... couple weeks later it threw a code , my wife brought it in and they did compression test and now It's getting a new head ... July 3rd .

They gave me the lifters/rockers ... but needed to send the cam in to FCA. Nice Duster by the way ... son and I are building a 74 .

Update ... Truck is fixed , the dealership changed out the pump/sender ... I regret to say that my wife didn't get the old part to analyze , sorry ... but I'm not about to ask her to run back to the dealership to get it. She won't tell me how much it cost to repair either ... " you don't wan't to know " ... I'm thinking that might have something to do with the fact that they told her it was time to change "some fluids " ...so they changed the transmission, Rear end and coolant . OMFG !!!! She's right..."I don't wan't to know " !!!

Yes, I'm blessed ... I'm working , the wife's got her truck back , i'm not gonna cry about it ... first world problem's for sure .

My stealer wanted $2200 for a new DEF pump. I am now in the same boat you were in. They also wanted $800 for CCV filter and EGR cleaning. Of course, my year (2014) doesn't require EGR cleaning.
