Well I finally did it. Got a Big Horn mega cab 2500 auto 4x4. Glad I'm keeping my '01 with the nv4500. I've got 200 miles on the new truck and I already miss shifting. It's a nice truck, but with out the shifting, what the hell am I supposed to do? The power is AMAZING I have to say. And the kids can sit in the back seat now with out being cramped, the mega cab is huge. Why did I go with the auto? I decided on a mega cab and the local dealer one for a decent price.

so who makes rear floor mats for a mega cab? good ones that cover the whole floor.

Well I can tell you which ones not to get at least...I put Weathertech liners in my 06 and they have a slimy feel to them that does not come off. They never come clean either, no matter how much soap and scrubbing I put to them. Still slimy, still dirty looking. The "slime" has even transferred to the carpet and discolored it somewhat. I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a purchase for my truck.

On the other hand, the Husky Liners in my 97 worked great and lasted forever...

Got our rubber mats through the dealer. Very nice!. Just got back from a short trip over the mountain. Thing is a tow monster! I love not shifting. I love the Anderson hitch, no pita trying to free the hitch from forward tension. Love the auto level on the Montana.. It's getting too easy. My truck us exactly like yours but different. Black, aisin 3500, air level...congrats!!.

went with the Husky floor mats. They looked good. No, I haven't towed with it yet.

I haven't bought a pair for my 4th gen, but I ran Husky mats in my 2nd gen for 14 years, and was always happy with them. Yeah, they stained a bit when subjected to nasty mud, but they fit great and made it so my factory floor still looked brand new when I sold my truck years later (had the husky mats over the factory floor mats).

bumping this old thread in hopes that someone knows how to effectivley clean the currrent weathertech mats. I bought them from the dealer when I bought my 2016 Crewcab and they are nice mats, they fit well, they stay in place, and they looked great. Problem is that no amount of scrubbing seems to be enough to get them looking good again. I noticed the weathertech website sells a 'special' cleaner and that just irritates me to no end.

Anyone figure out how to clean these things?

Forget about it. I have the same issue with my weathertechs. I have contacted them and they said use soap??? I tried every soap and vinyl cleaner i could. Mine are curled up along the edges and completely ridiculous looking. The last draw for me was when my five year old tripped over the curled edge and almost fell out of the truck. I am going to replace them with some husky mats.
I also had this same issue with the weathertechs in my 10 tundra, 13 tundra, 04 suburban,12 LML Duramax, and now my 15 3500. I have tried everything so am moving on. The slimy feeling gets sticky and that is the end.

I have not found anything that will clean them or remove the "slime". They will hit the dumpster when the new Husky liners arrive. While they do fit great I would never recommend them because you just can't clean them.

Do not toss them. Clean the best you can and throw them on Craigslist. I always sell them in a week for half what i paid new. I sold every set i had that way when i traded vehicles. I plan to sell my current set when i get the husky mats. I think i will try the xact contour instead of the weatherbeaters.

weather techs were like $200 for front and rear sets and the Ram Weather tech style ones were only $99.00 on most mopar accessory sites. I love the quality and to me the fit and finish are better then the weather techs. (Plusw the fronts have the ram emblems and they look really nice. There are 2 different styles one that is deep to catch stuff and then cheapo flat mats. Also make sure you get the right set, they make in black and a dark tan and for crew and for mega cabs. here is a couple pics of them so u can see them.
