The Night before Christmas

Like "rolling coal" ??

Nearly ALL of it. At 50MPH, all the smoke gets pulled back down about 5' after your tailgate. The faster you are going, the faster the smoke gets pulled down.

It seems to get pulled down so hard that at 70+MPH it appears to hit the ground and spread out left/right making for a very wide smoke screen.

When smoking out a car behind you, Dual Stacks do a better job than a single side exit because it covers the air about 10' high, and about 15' left/right. There is no swerving around it ;)

" There is no swerving around it"

I've just got a 4" out the side and have noticed that since the DD2's went in a few months ago, alot of people tend to try to go around the cloud I sometimes leave instead of just going though it.

I got me a new trophy last night. Well, 3 actually!

- All the trophies are accented with King Ranch Leather! :-laf :-laf

I was on the way home from the supermarket, and I turned on to 281, AKA Harlan Dragway... Now, back to the story. . I saw a 4x4 DRW King Ranch 350 6. 0 at the light, so I thought I would blow a little smoke as I turned the corner to entice him a little bit. . It worked! about a mile and a half down the road, he catches me as I am slowing for a red light. He gets on my back bumper as I roll into 3rd gear, and stays right there, so I lay into it, and black him out in raw #2!!! I take off, then decide to give him a chance, so I move over into the right lane, and hold 65. . sure enough, he gets up about 1 car length behind me, and in the other lane, when I see a poof of smoke come from his passenger side... I see him trying to gain on me, so I hammer down on the soot pedal in 5th, then on to 6th, leaving him far, far behind... . I thought that would have been enough, but nope! Moron wants more! so this time we are doing about a 70 roll, and this time I let him get up to about the back of my front door, when he hammers it. . he got his back bumper to my window, and whaddya know?! Here I come again! This time, I wave at him as I am passing him again! I didnt let out of it till I was at a blazing 115 mph on the dash! once again, I back out of it to cool down everything, and this time he comes flying by me as to say his weak over-cylindered, underpowered, injector leaking, wiring harness burning, over priced truck was going to get me one way or another... Wrong. Here I come again, for the final arse whooping, and blow by him again, once again waving bye bye to him!:D This time I had to slow down to make the crossover to get to the house. . As he drove by, I waved, and gave a thumbs up, but he didnt even wave back. If you get beat, deal with it. When I get beat, I always wave, and give thumbs up, or something to that extent! oh well, I still laid a good arse whooping on little city-fied truck boy.

There are a lot of sore losers out there, especially when their sports car gets creamed by a slow clanky diesel pickup. If I get beat by lets say a modified ford I would be giving the driver a big thumbs up! Its all in fun. Most of the pickups I have played with were mostly stock with maybe a chip and the driver thinks he is driving the fastest truck on earth and gets a huge attitude when beaten. Sooner or later I am going to loose to another diesel pickup (Dockboy!:D ) and you can bet I will be giving a big thumbs up to the driver!!

PS: Nice work Chris:D

I usually shoot at drivers who beat me and I never have to worry about 'em again. Just kidding ... I only said that in fun, Officer. Honest! Officer, are those handcuffs you're pulling out?

Not even 5 minutes after finishing the stacks on my truck we decided to take a spin around town. Well i forgot that with miter cuts the smoke just blows straight back onto the cars behind you. Needless to say a woman in a convertible got a face full of soot. I almost felt kinda bad. Nahhhhh

Here's a small video of me showing my parents why stacks are important. http://www.truckporn.com/users/gotsmoke/100_0473.mov

So here is my story, coming back from Texas today going home I hear on the radio that there is a Cruise in Altus Ok, cops are letting folks do burn outs on the street..... hum, I'm driving through Altus going home! So I jump into the Cruise that is packed, I make my way down and do a few small burn out then it's time to turn around... ... perfect spot and lots of folks to watch! I stall it out in full fuel mode to roll the smoke then ease out and get the tires spinning in high gear to 100+MPH and I come out walking it on the road (Piers Impression) for a half a block or so, there is so much mixed smoke that it is everywhere, can't see anyone, not the street, people or anything... total blank out, I have smoke coming through the vents into the truck... and I roll on down the road, one of the cops walks out and says we don't mind you doing that but don't walk it out..... for safety, slap fives and I drive off..... America is still alive!

I found out Sunday that when I pulled this stunt it was just as bad as I thought, friend of a friend watched me do it and said I even stopped the radio station announcer from broadcasting that was there because he was trying to see through the smoke... ... wish I had a pic of it!

Going home from Muncie

A group of us were comming back from Muncie to MN. Cruising along at a pretty good clip, but caught in a little traffic. This little red POS starts doing the traffic weave in and out between us. After cutting off 2 of our guys, I decided to let him know he shouldn't be doing that! :D So I smoked him pretty good. Then he got closer to my back bumper. Oo. Oo. Oo. Got'm again! It was a beautiful thing! Needless to say, as soon as he got the chance to get away from us... he did. I had a grin the rest of the trip. 712miles on the Odo one way to Muncie.
