A gal asked me last night, "If you had all the money in the world, what would you drive?" She said I made the question dumb because I answered "I already drive it. " :D

Amen, 258,000 miles on my dream truck... . get a new head, and it'll keep climbing!

My truck has been down since X-mas eve when it blew the coolant out of the overflow for the 3rd time. I finally fired it up to move it for the first time yesterday. My new GF hasn't seen my truck move. So when the beast fired off, and I tore out of the driveway sideways with a MASSIVE grin :D on my face, she knew. I walked back into the house after my round the block run, :D :D , She looked at me, and said "You miss your truck don't ya?" Well you know the answer to that one! :-laf :-laf She even wants to drive it. Guys I may have found a keeper! Oo. Oo.

Which vehicle in your sig was this with? :-laf The one with the DTT and twins or the one with the DTT and twins? :D Nice!! :)

Neither in the sig has twins... yet! Both run the same turbo. B1 w/ small turbine (-2 wheel). It was done with mine.

The ex-g/f of over 3 years used to despise my pickup. Spending too much money on it, always wrenching, always on here, etc. She didn't drive it for the first 2 years I owned it. Then one night I was too intoxicated to faithfully maneuver "Bullula" (my pickup's name, not the ex) home safely, so I told her "you're driving"... she was reluctant, but climbed behind the wheel. When we got to cruising down the road and the engine was warm, I leaned over and kicked the Comp up to kill, then told her "Ok, put it to the floor and keep it straight... don't let off till 110". When she mashed it from 30 mph and it downshifted to 2nd and took off, her eyes got as big as basketballs! She did exactly as I told her though and held it to the floor till 110. When she finally let off she couldn't stop smiling and had to do it again! From that night on, anytime we were out in my pickup it was "smoke that ricer!" "Race him... he looks like a tool!" Or, to other guys as she's leaning out the pax window: "Think your car's fast? Ever been beat by a pickup?" And she loovvveeeddddd to drive it after that too... one of the few people allowed at the controls of my pickup. :D Be careful about letting them drive... you might be losing your baby! (oh, and the ex also knows the benefits of a Cummins over a PSD or Dmax... she shys away from nobody when telling them that their Ford doesn't hold a chance against my Dodge, even after we've been apart).

Sorry about that Josh. I was thinking B1-B2... . got mixed up there. Not talking smart :), but wouldn't that be a B1-2 or a B1B-2? :D

Who has the Beer Wagon then? I'm . :-laf

Just to bring this back to smoke stories, I smoked my grandpa's first cousin's daughter-in-law out while she was out jogging yesterday. I guess that would make it one of my cousins down the line, also my current part-time boss' wife, and my mile-away neighbor. Actually I engulfed the intersection for her on my way to chores. She's a nurse, bet she thought a lot of that. :) A bad wastegate actuator will do that, you know. :D

There are so many different variations of the B1 series turbos that everybody calls theirs something different.

"The Beer Wagon" is Denis's. He started the snowracer account 3 years ago when he started looking for upgrades to his 1st gen. I used it a lot in that first year too, so the next year I payed for it, and we both get to use it. He gets the magazine, I use the website.

Here's a link to him pulling in Klamath. http://www.bhaner.com/videos/k_falls5_04/Denis%20HIckey(large). wmv

I think I have that one saved to my computer already. :) Is that the one on Diesel-Central where he pulls it out close to the door and they drop the pan on him. I think the announcer gets excited and says "Hold on Denis, we got the rest of the show to go!" :-laf Thanks for the clarification. I think I remember back when both of you were on here once. I haven't been here but since August of 03. Now I know what to call you. :-laf

Here's another one

I worked for a Chevy dealer for a couple years a little while back. There was another sales-PERSON (if you know what I mean) there who had way too much consete for herself and her fancy, new little ETC Caddy-lack. I always enjoyed parking my CTD there, in plane sight and she always has something derogatory to say about my "ugly farm truck. " Well one summer afternoon at my quittin' time she had left her driver's window open to enjoy the nice day and of course parked crooked at the end of the row. A couple of my co-workers were having a smoke (LOL) break out the back door when I pulled up along side of her car. They were looking at me kind of oddly wondering what I was doing. Well, I managed to fill her perfectly placed new ETC with cold diesel nastyness, to the near pants-wetting enjoyment of my co-workers.

The next day she scheduled a $250 interior detail job on the car. The smell never really came out. :-laf

On the way to get my yearly state inspection, I was sitting behind a car, who was trying to turn left, when there was no turn lane... this was fine, but after about 2 or 3 chances to turn, and not acting upon it, it began to make me frustrated. I waited for an opening, spooled up to about 2000 RPM's, and eased out on 2nd, and dumping into 3rd... after getting going, I look back to discover I fogged out the whole road, as well as the bus stop... Oops!! Oh well, it wont happen again!

Installed my latest perscription from Dr. Adkins tonight. While driving down the bypass around my hometown I come up on a white Crew Cab Short Bed 4x4 Duramax pulling about a 15' trailer with some ladders & stuff.

Gauges on the A-pillar caught my attention as I eased on past him not trying to race. However, he had other thoughts I guess after he saw the ADP decal or the stacks and tried to edge back up to me... . :-laf I gave the truck a healy dose and away we went... . and so did my boost gauge 50PSI! :eek: :--) I backed it down to a little less than 40 and then eased it back up to 40 (all while using less than 1/2 throttle! :eek: :-laf ) and walked away from him while trying to calm my heart down from seeing 50PSI on my stock charger :eek: :{

I easily walked away from the guy..... got over in his lane... and gave him a NICE dose of #2... while paying EXTRA CLOSE attention to the boost gauge ;)

He comes running up along side me... . I roll the g/f's window down lean up where he can see me on the other side of the cab and give him a big thumbs up... . here's the funny part..... he has this :D grin on his face and returns the thumbs up! Oo. Good sport!

Last night after driving for hours in the rain, I was tired, and only a few miles home from my day long trip. A person in a small car got behind me and started flashing there bright lights at me. Apparently they thought my headlights were too bright or something since I was behind them earlier. This guy turned on his bright lights behind me, and I thought they were too bright, so I mashed the throttle, and turned his high beams into low beams as the waves of smoke drifted over his car. After the second shot of this, he changed lanes...

I got me one the other day on the way to work... everytime I would make a little haze, they would swerve around the cloud. . I noticed what they were doing, so I made bigger and bigger clouds, all the time lauging my arse off! I must have done this for about 5 miles, and loved every minute of it!

Got one last week. JR's new laser cut DV's really pour the coal in a 215 pump too!

Had a black late 90's model caddy following too close... ... as in my truck has 35" tires and I couldn't see this person's headlights/grille over my tailgate in my rear view mirror! #@$%!

We were getting of a bypass onto a main hwy and I just let 'er rip!! :D Oo. :-laf fogged out my 2 lane side of the hwy with ease! :-laf

got 2 just recently.

first was a girl in a civic. i was at a left turn light and she was next to me in a strait lane. when the arrow turned green i went and noticed she had gone also and tried to pass me in the middle of the intersection. i quickly went to third gear and let it pour. she turned into the next parking lot. second was some dumbass kid riding on his girlfriends hood. the were stopped in the street waiting for me and the guy in front to pass so the could take there left turn. i had the trailer and should have downshfted into second but didnt. a nice black fog was laid out and she had no choice but to go through it. i think the boy on the hood will ride inside next time.

I hate to say it but I joined the fog patrol this morning! On my way to work and a big rig pulled out in front of me. . I was only going about 30 when he did but it was the way he did it that I didnt like. He waited till I was nearly in the intersection and then rolled on out.

Traffic was a little busy behind me due to some road work and the detour. The road was clear so I just push the go pedal and went around. Lets put this recipe together and see what the outcome was. . 30 mph,4th gear,F1 Mach 2. 5s,#10 plate 65k forward, housing full forward, star wheel 7 clicks back from full forward,no boost screw 1 full turn in... and let bake for 5-10 seconds... and you get :--) :--) :--) :--) . For some reason. . the cars disappeared...

I also forgot to let the boost rise before starting the bake cycle :D

Sooted the wife

She was doing some yard work next to the driveway and I was leaving to get more supplies. As I was backing out, I could see her bent over though my side mirror. The little devil came out and said, "Do it, Do it!" The tail pipe was about 4 feet awayfrom her, when I gave the ole cummins some fuel. I was kind. I only gave her a small puff. I looked back in my rear view mirror as I was leaving the driveway and she was just smiling and shaking her head.

She is such a good sport. I just love her.

I got one today on the way home... some lady would not let me merge onto the highway, and just so happened to have her windows down. . we were all going about 10-15 mph in traffic, so when I came around her, I got just a little ahead, aimed the pipe, and gave it WOT... I looked back to see the whole right side of the highway blacked out! Oh well, at least I got a good laugh out of it!

..

Look out Chris, there's another SMOKEY 12 valve in town... :-laf ... it's fun to see what a custom ground plate and some pump mods can do to a tailgater  ... I got a bronco who was trying to pass me on the right on the dirt shoulder last night around a 30 mph curve ... the headlights dissapeared for a good 5 seconds then he stayed WAY back thinking my truck was on fire. :D
