1999 Kubota TG1860 mower with a little "screw twisting" on the pump. Not bad for a little . 722 liter 3 cylinder 18 horsepower engine with about a 1 inch exhaust pipe! As you can tell by the fescue heads, the grass was WAY too tall and thick, but the BOMBED little inline engine powers on through it!

The other day when I pulled in to work, and went to park in my usual place (at least at the work center I had to go to Friday), I was told by the security guard that it was "On Call Parking, only"... Never heard that one before. . Thing is, the turnover rate for our security is phenomenal... usually a new guard every week, or every other week... Anyways, I just throw it into 3rd gear, and lug it to about 400 RPM's, look back, and he is engulfed in a nasty plume of smoke! hahaha, oh well... when I went to walk by him, he didnt say much, but I got a great laugh out of it!

Guys At The Shop Can Be Smoked Too.

Well im one of the younger techs at my shop and im always reaming guys here about there age, :{ so they have ways to get back at me. Some days its parts thrown in my bay others they try to smoke me with a duramax (chevy shop)thinking i'll get mad or hurt or something. well i always laugh at the dmax because of its little poof when they rap it.

One day when the boss wasnt in the shop i brought my truck in. (its not allowed anymore because it rattles the whole place, not to mention the deaf guys hearing aid when i get on it. )anyway i brought mine in, it smokes decent at launch and if loaded. well 4low so i dont go spinning on the painted floor and pedal to the floor a few times. :-laf :-laf i filled one guys 3 bays with so much smoke, he hates diesel #@$%! so he went running ventilation aint that good either so it lingered. he hasnt messed with me lately.

I just smoked out a 6.0 about 10 min ago on the way home!

I was going up 281, almost home, going through the last stoplight in town, and I noticed a van in the right, and a 6. 0 in the left lane. . I was going 65, and was creeping up on him, when I noticed a little haze come over my truck. . Hmm, he wants to run me! Ok, so I hammered down, and back on his tail I was! I go around him, and notice his window is down... I spool up the '40 and make sure he hears it, as well as notes the gauges to make sure he knows what he is up against... I ease past him, meander back into the left lane, and on my way I go... I look in the rear view, and he is right on my tailgate... I stood in it, fogged the whole highway out, and ran off from him in a heartbeat! During all this, I look over at my pyro, and it is pegged at 1500 degrees! When I let out of the throttle, it stayed there for almost 2 seconds before it decided to climb back down... I moved over into the right lane, and waved at them as they came by, but they didnt even look over and wave back... Hey, they wanted to play, got spanked, and went home-- tail tucked in between legs! At least be a good sport and wave back! That's my story for the day!

Got a Soccer Mom this morning as well!

I was making the turnaround on the Crossover to go back southbound down the highway, and turn into my neighborhood parkway. . Traffic was heavy as normal, and I was waiting my turn to pull across the highway. . some ignorant soccer mom decides she is going to pull on my passenger side, and try to beat Black Betty to the other side...

Mistake #1: She had her windows down.

Mistake #2: She gave me the evil glare

Mistake #3: She just looked at my truck, and laughed when I started revving it up and blowing smoke on her...



Well, traffic clears out, and out she comes. . Only, I am spooled up, ease out on the clutch, and those of you that have an Southbend FE know when it is ready to hook up, it HOOKS UP and GRABS! My rear wheels slide out from under me, and I fish tail it, going southbound! Oo. As I am fish tailing, I look out to my passenger side mirror, and see the water coming out of my ice chest, about 5 feet in the air! :-laf I am trying to distinguish between the smoke, and flying water, trying to spot the ignorant soccer mom, when all of a sudden, out of a cloud, she emerges! I am sure she was like when she realized she had just made a marginal mistake by being impatient... As if this was not enough, when I got to the parkway-- Far ahead of her, I put it into 5th gear, and lugged it about 25-40 mph, laying a nice cloud of fog out for her to continue her respiratory therapy session with Black Betty and myself. After that, she never did try to haul @ss up to me... That's my morning smoke story for y'all!!

Not a dis, but more of a showing o ff... ;-)

So me and the GF are heading to best buy just before the close at 10pm. No one in the parking lot and I take up, in a cool fashion, 3 or 4 spots on an angle right out front of the door.



We walk out and there's this guy, leaning up on a saturn or something, staring at my truck. BTW, my truck was left running, for the 15 minutes we were in the store. locked, tho. I come out and unlock the truck, and he approaches me.



this guy was admazed at how quite the truck was at idle. Asked me about my exhaust. . We BSed about his dad's 95 CTD. yada yada yada. . heh, some one pulls up in a old 80's caddy, he gets in... WTF? so he's leaning on a strangers car checking out my truck?



Well, I desided to show off a little. ;-)



Pull out into the road I hop in the left turn lane, he's in the go foward lane. this is a long-ish left hand turn, enough to shift into 4th. so I take advatage of this! 1st (quicky) , 2nd (little smoke), 3rd to 3200 with some tire noise and smoke, grab 4th and WOT I'm in a drift, only to see a car merging the other way, so much for a full on side ways left hand turn drift! had to keep the tire smoking in my lane.



It was rather loud and cool



And the best part, the GF is cool with this crazy driving. Any of my X's and most of my friends that are girls would beat the poop outa me Heck, the GF loves it when I smoke people. I need her to get her an old CTD or atleast a TDI jetta bombed.

I was merging into bumper to bumper traffic from an on ramp to I-5 in Sacramento last week, and found a wide hole to jump into {going about 7mph} in front of a company 18-wheeler like Marten Trucking or someone. He doesn't like the fact his 4 car gap got cut to a 3 car gap and flies up 2 inches from the hitch. I lug it in 4th gear at 7 mph for about 10 seconds, the thick black death wave rolled up his hood and fogged out his windshield and he had to stop the truck because the cloud went up in the air that high :-laf ... teach those rookie solo drivers to push around smaller vehicles

Got a couple skirts

Me and the girlfriend were coming from downtown gunna turn right to get on the on ramp to go south I-25 i had the green light, but of course the two girls walking thought they were bigger than my truck so they walked through the crosswalk and i gave them a little scare by slamming the brakes kinda obnoxious like. they freaked because they weren't looking at traffic. my truck is no chris harlan smoke king but i put out a good smokin at low boost, so pedal to the floor, looked back and saw them running out of the smoke!!! got them real good. the one in back was brushing off her skirt, guess it stuck to her. had a smile the whole way home. Oo.

i use to have fun smoking out tailgaters in a old 1980 volvo 240 diesel 4 speed od, if you get em between 4 and 5k rpm they will roll some serious coal, mom use to smoke em out too in her old 1985 740 volvo turbo diesel automatic which also rolls a good cloud above 4k. man i gotta get the fuel problems fixed on my new 96, not even a puff in 5th at 1k rpm to the floor :{

lugging the volvo diesel doesn't really fart out much of a cloud but under a good load at high rpm it's suprising how good it makes the car behind you disappear, they have a audi/vw 2. 4 I6 with a bosch ve pump and are governed between 5100 and 5300 rpm, turbo motor is rated at 100 hp i can't remember the torque

Rolling coal in that 4K and 5K I thought that the diesels were happy at lower RPM's

two stories!

So I'm at i694 and one exit east of i-35E. I'm heading back west to i-35e.



the on ramp was 2 lanes turn left, 2 lanes merge to one lane. Some chick in a 87-88 Z28 camaro 5 speed T-tops off, driving with her BF riding shotgun. They are not merging, just putzing, so I run up next to this "fast car". She looks over and is like "oh my god! let me merge please!" look... . she was cute, I smiled at her BF and backed off.



As we enter the highway, both of them losers are issuing me the bird! huh? I WAS NICE! losers. . I'm in the left lane, 2 cars back, they are in the right. I'm thinking "not a good idea to let me get in front... ... ... ;-)' So the left lane was actully moving faster then the right (I was shoked!). I get exacty 3"s in front of them in the left lane. Plenty of room for me to slip between them and the car in front of them. I start to sllloooowwwwly make my lane change and cut them off



As soon as I was about 2 feet into the lane change, I think she freaked out and jumped over to the left lane. Perfect! so I retract my lane change and now I'm in front! 70mph, back down to 0psi boost, 50mph. roll into a full throttle run, 12psi, back off. repeate for about 4 miles worth of drive. They must of had a months worth of soot to clean out!



The best part was when she would see and opening and try to make a run for it. they would have about 4 or 5 car lenghts to get moving, she would get about 1 car lenght and I would just keep in the throttle, let them get an ear full and just run from them, always keeping in front.

Second story!!!



Running i-94 west towards minneapolis. See this old first gen D250 body style, if it had a diesel, it would be a first gen. he start pacing my speed. I'm inthe right lane, he's one next to me. Why the heck are you going to pace me when t here is little traffic? so I speed up, for safty reasons to get away from some one right next to me, expecually in an old POS truck. He speeds up, I crack 38psi of boost and take off, I back back down to 70mph and he is still running hard, I roll in to some low boost smoke and he jumps a lane and give me a big thumbs up!
