Me and another TDR member (Lotero) had just left from lunch on a friday, headed back to work. we came to a light, he was in front, and I was right behind him, and there was a car behind me, that I noticed had the trunk open. (dont know why) there was lots more traffic behind us. when it turned green he went for it, I was right behind him. AS soon as I could, I swicthed lanes and eventually caught him, and would have passed him if a van hadnt pulled out in front of me. anyways, we work on a military base, and when we got to the gate, there were two lines to enter the base. we both got in the left lane. we waited in line for a little while, and i looked over in the right lane and there was the car with the trunk open, it was also empty (again, i dont know why it was open, of if she even realized it). the lady driving was probably in her 40's. then all of a sudden, she looked over at me and flipped me off. I guess my 12V 5-speed with my #11 full foward and afc spring loose smoked too much for her? Oo.

This maybe a little off topic but a couple of years ago I was driving a Ford LTL 9000 with a 400 Cat to Kentucky with a load of cars and an injection line broke and I was only about 20 miles at the most away from the dealer I was delivering to so I kept driving you could see a haze of raw fuel behind the truck the cars coming up behind me turned their wipers on oh what a mess they had :-laf

My fuel filter came loose one day on my PrimeLoc, I thought something was up when I smelt raw fuel, then saw everyone behind me change lanes, and one lady had her wipers on. Then my fuel gauge started to drop FAST! Okay back to the topic.

I had to laugh at myself, I actually had to put it all together before I realized what was going on-1. smell fuel, 2. motorist all getting the heck away from me, 3. lady who does stay behind me has her wipers on, 4. and the fuel gauge is suddenly and rapidly dropping... ... ... well hey I must have a fuel leak!?!?

I had a A-N fitting come loose near the grocery store about 3 miles from home. I did not want to stop becuase I had 300. 00 worth of food in truck. In 3 miles I lost 1/2 tank :--) WHAT A MESS Raw fuel EVERY WHERE under the hood :{ After 4 cleanings it was mostly cleaned up. The following week I took the same path home and could clearlly see the path of fuel all the way home.

Man if the DER or the EPA would have seen that they would have had the road shut down for at least a day while a HAZMAT crew took their good ole time cleaning it up and propperly desposing of it :-laf I saw a guy loose a five gallon bucket of paint on the road and it might have made a spot on the road about maybe six feet around and they had traffic detoured for the entire day when all they would have had to do wasto put down some oil dry scoop up the worst of it and throw it in the nearest dumpster.

Gotta love teenagers- Some 17 yr old moron in his Z71 at the redlight with his subs set on stun looks over and starts rappin his pipes and has that "you got a hemi in that thing?" look... ... No son, not quite... ... after we left the light and I moved in front of him (should have seen the look on his face wondering how I pulled him 2 truck lengths crossing the innersection) I slowed down for the "soot shower" the best part is watching this idiot swerve to avoid the smoke as if he and his truck will melt. At the next light I told him that he needs to pull his pants up and buy a Honda... ... .

Oldie but a goodie...

This is a bit long so bear with me...



Years ago, I had a '85 Chevy Blazer with a 6. 2 in it. I pulled out onto one of the local 2-lane highways and was tooling along when one of the local hot-rod hot-heads in his recently built hoodless Camero comes flying up behind me in a big hurry. Traffic was comming the other way not allowing him to pass me, seeing how I never liked this guy, I decided to smoke him out. I dropped the 6. 2 to 2nd gear and smoked him good with all 125hp! :-laf When the traffic passed he put 'er down and passed me, glasspack sidepipes roaring, tires smoking. He got 2 lengths in front of me and I heard a big POW! White smoke out the top, oil out the bottom. He managed to scatter the entire motor over about 1/4 mile of that highway before he got it hauled to a stop on the side in front of me.

we did that to another units jets that came to fly with us for a while (oh yea i am an F-16 crew chief) we found some black stickers of vw beetles vans, cars and trucks, and stuck them just on the LH side below the canopy where munition stickers go, it looked perfect, i will see if i can dig up some of the pics, we now went to iraq and have a nice lil collection of the real thing. Gotta love it!

i'll tell him to check my stacks to make sure there working and show him how to smoke somebody.
