I think I take the cake for a great in-the-window puff of smoke I let out on the way home from dropping some cows off at the sale. Some ignorant girl, maybe in mid 20's or so, jumped out in the left lane doing about 55 while I had a 24' steel cattle trailer, doing around 70-75... I did what anyone would do-- Ride her but, and wait for her to move over. :-laf Well, as I came around her, I happened to notice she was going out of her way, driving with her knee, holding the phone with her left hand, and rolling down the window with the right. As I began to pass, I noticed she was telling me I was #1, only with the wrong finger! So, now I did what anyone with a BOMB'd motor would do!!! I slowed down, grabbed 3rd gear, let her get just a little bit in front of me, and spooled up the HX40, sending a huge nasty cloud of unburned fuel into the cab of that little jetta! :-laf I am sure she was already doing the #@$%! thing, but hey, in Texas, there are signs that say "LEFT LANE FOR PASSING ONLY" and "KEEP TEXAS MOVING (Moooooving in my case!); SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT"... . I guess she was illiterate or something, but I got the last laugh!!! Anyone else have any good stories of smoke shows on the unsuspecting????? Feel free to respond!!

Good for you. I have a 1993 W 250 that is fairly stock except for some screw adjustments. When I nail it, I can get the black coal burning as well. Same goes for my 1981 VW Rabbit Pickup with the dual stacks.

Good for you. I have a 1993 W 250 that is fairly stock except for some screw adjustments. When I nail it, I can get the black coal burning as well. Same goes for my 1981 VW Rabbit Pickup with the dual stacks.

therabbittree also has a vw pickup with stacks. dynoed over 80 something horsepower a couple years ago... pretty cool

There is a kid running around here that has a Dodge D50 that he originally had dual 4" miter cut galvanized pipe for stacks to immitate my old truck (The White Wonder!) ..... now he's swapped to 3" galvanized pipe with curved tops to resemble turnouts.



They even gave him a new CB handle when playing fox hunt (cb tag) around here... ... "Mini-shot" :-laf :-laf :-laf (my cb handle is "Shotgun")



He's got 31" dunlop mud rovers on it and its 2wd... ... I'll have to get a pic next time I catch him out in town!

Got a built Uniden Grant XL right now I've been trying to sell for some time, can't get anyone to come up with the $$$. I have a regular Cobra 25 that's maxed out too sitting in my basement that I will run if I ever sell my Uniden.



Not on the CB very much anymore, unless we're playing fox hunt (CB tag) during the summer or I'm traveling on the interstate.

So I am at Wal Mart yesterday, taking my grandpa to get a few things... When we get out to the truck, I fire it up. . A little smoke comes out of the pipe, nothing to worry about; Some lady changes her course, walks all the way to the other side of the parking row, begins fanning her nose as if there is alot of smoke. . I told my grandpa to watch the round mirror, because its about to get Smmmoooookayyy around this parking lot!! I start romping on the pedal, and the whole area begins to fill up with smoke (No wind works wonders)! I look back and now the lady is running! My grandpa got a good laugh, and so did I. . Then we smoked out a Lexus LX470 SUV on the way back to drop him off. it was good to see him smiling.

he he that is a pretty good one, and its good to see that someone is talking about smoke again! i did the same thing to a lady the other day she was parked on my right and i started her up not knowing the lady was about 10 ft from the smokeblower on the way to get inside her cute ute, oh man the look on her face was hilarious, it looked like she just ate an entire lemon! and to see her run from the smoke had me and my girlfriend laughing :-laf
