Guess since I'm not an almighty one that scored 1400 on the SAT's I'll just keep doing like all the rest of the dumb people on the board and smoke anyone and everyone I feel like. Hmmm, maybe I'll just leave the box on 5x5 from now on and try to get this global warming thing kicked in gear.

To those of you who I am not good enough to be in your presence: #ad

Smarts ain't got anything to do with it. Hell I got a full ride to GA Tech which I declined for an appointment to the Naval Academy, that don't mean I don't enjoy a good smoke show every now and then, or all the time:D

I am interested to see how this ULSD affects prices and mileage, if it hurts at all I am sure I will be buying new additives to make up for it and return emissions, lubricity, and power to their rightful placeOo.

But I am with Hohn, no elite stuff here... . just good fun, friends, and turbo diesel talk:cool:

But back on topic....

I actually had a Land Rover Discovery want to race me coming home from work today. So I did what I ususally do, kept him alongside for a little while at half-throttle, then looked at him, smiled, gave a little flick of a wave, THEN floored it. You would have thought he hit his brakes or something. Then promptly sliding into his lane and punching it again at low boost and his brand new white paint turned black:D

But he was cool about it, came back alongside at the next light, first with a :--) on his face, then a big thumbs up and a :D :-laf

Good to see some people that can appreciate a hobby:cool:

Last night (Friday) I got the munchies, so we went down to Taco Cabana to get some food. Not realizing a high school football game must have gotten out, we opted to go through the drive thru. when we were leaving there were a bunch of kids standing in the way. I was patient, and some of them did not move very much, as one was in his BMW, hogging my ½ of the drive, so his buddy just got up next to his car. they looked at us and started laughing. I thought, "ok, you want something to laugh about, watch this!" was in 1st gear, put it in 3rd, bumped the 10 plate up to 5x5 Kill Mode, and mashed it! I got the people on the right, but thats ok, the wind blew it to the idiots who were blocking the drive! I am a patient person, but when I have to sit and wait for the little high school kiddos to get homework assignments in the parking lot of a restaurant, I get ticked off. Especially with an empty stomach.

I got another PSD a few minutes ago!!! It is fun to play with some of these people around here, because they think they can beat you regardless of seeing your gauges, exhaust, hearing the turbo, and the CUMMINS POWER badges on the doors. I was just dropping the lawn mower off at the small engine repair shop, and noticed an ISB coming up, so I slowed to check it out, and give the guy a thumbs up... next thing I see is a PSD on my tail... I look in the rear view, then out the side mirror, laugh, and give the smart@ss salute-- Wave goodbye to him out the window, and punch it! he got left in a cloud of soot, and about a ¼ mile's worth at that. . we came to a light, and he gets really close on my tail, to where he is almost hitting my bumper. . ISB guy looks over and mouths the words "Get him!" to me... I lugged a 3rd gear start, fogging both lanes of the highway, leaving him there... . when I looked back, he was using his windshield wipers!!! :-laf Why people do that, I dont know, but it sure is funny! Oh well, after that he didnt want to play anymore!

So I cruised down to Phoenix last night to go to the Alabama concert (which by the way was awesome!!!). We got on I-10 West from 17 and I was having fun w/ the box on 5x5. I can't believe how much power a pickup like mine has when at a lower altitude... oh, and my KSB1-B is NUTZ!!! That thing goes from 0-47 PSI instantly!!! From a dead stop at a stop light I have boost at about 1300 RPM's, where up here at 5000' I don't start getting it till 1600. I tell ya what, that thing would be flat scary to drive every day if I lived down there... anyway, back to the smoke story.

So we're cruising along in the 2nd from left lane, and I'm taking it fairly easy cause my roommates girlfriends sisters are in a car behind us trying to follow us to the concert. Well, all of a sudden I hear a whining noise coming up on my left and as I glance over an ENORMOUS Chubby D/A goes rolling by. This guy was running at least 36" tires and an 8" lift. I don't look up at many people from my pickup and I was looking waaaaayyyyy up at him. So, because I had all this extra play power I make my way up next to him... he's doing about 82 and I come up on his right. He glances over and gives the "what do you want" look to me. He's wearing a wife-beater and has a shaved head, but a thick go-tee (is that how you spell that?). So anyway, I give her the go juice and roll past like he's standing still (he got on it, but was bone stock, so he couldn't do anything. I backed off at 100 and moved in front of him, then slowed down. Got down to about 70 and he caught up and was on me, so he got a 0 boost full throttle show. Ya know, it's not too impressive at 70 MPH or at <3000' elevation cause it cleans up too quick, but his black Duraslug did dissapear for a couple seconds. I slowed down again and moved into the rigth lane... he rolled up next to us, looks over, and does a classic one-finger salute!! I was rolling around in my pickup laughing so hard. :) Haven't seen that big of a tool in a long time!!! It was fun, and I enjoyed it. Oo. Oo.

Oh, for Lightman, no, he didn't need it, nor deserve it... but I don't get to pick on lifted D/A's very often, so I figured he needed a show. :) Ah, pollution, what fun!!!

I love my smoke

I'm so glad to see this thread still going strong! I'm glad I'm not the only one enjoying my smoke. . . here goes

I have a '00 with an edge ez set on kill, and a Blue Chip FMS. Every day I come home from work the same way, and every day people choose to use the shoulder of the road to pass in the same spot. Everybody else has to wait, what makes you so special you get to use the shoulder and cut in front of everyone. So now every time I come home I make sure the box is at full fueling (63%) and set on "drag race mode" (also known as "give me all the fuel right now" mode. ) So I just sit patiently and wait for those a$$ holes to come by on the shoulder and I just lay a nice big cloud of black out there for them to drive through. The best part is I drive through one of the richest countys of the hole country on the way home (oakland county in Michigan). So there are lots of bmw's, mercedes, etc. . .

I can't wait to put my DD3's in, it's gonna be even better. But as for now I'm surprised the stock trans has lasted all summer! lol But I now know, what they were talking about when they said torque converter "shudder" :D :D

I like the stories of when someone smokes a totally idiotic ricer that's driving in a hazardous manner, or just being a total jerk by giving the finger, etc etc. However needless smoking is pretty unwarranted.

Scottwright, if it's a shoulder, meaning not a lane, that's not cool and I agree they deserve a treatment. However, if you are simply a person who gets in line behind everyone else when there is plenty of pavement merging lane left, thats your own fault. There's no law that says you must merge early and wait for everyone else.

The fact you're jealous of people in bmw's, mercedes, etc, is also quite apparent with your 'the best part is' sentence. Just because you didn't study hard enough in school or get a good enough job doesn't mean you should purposely smoke those who did and could afford a nice car. .

Hey, Lightman, he said the shoulder. If it were up to me, I would ... ... ... Well, I am just glad I don't live in Florida :)

Then read where I said they deserved it ;) I'm also glad you don't live in Florida, we have enough traffic as it is. :)

actually ...

Actually it's the left hand turn lane that isn't long enough, so some people rather then wait cut around everybody else. Believe me I am the last person to get over in the merge lane.

And as for your lack of schooling/job comment. . .

I currently attend a private engineering/architectural school in Michigan (Lawrence Technological University). Studying two degree's. I'm only a Junior and I already am working as a Design Engineer for a Tier I automotive seat supplier. I have a pristine '65 Plymouth Belvedere. I built a 11 second 340 duster with mid 80's iron heads and no nitrous, and yes it's nice. (check out the cover of last march, popular hot rodding) and I race a 500" '63 max wedge car in NSS superstock.

I'm pretty sure if I wanted to be a Yuppie I could afford it. Trust me it's not a jealousy thing.

Ok , fair enough... then explain why you feel it's the best to smoke out bmw and mercedes owners... just curious... .

I agree, it p's me off a lot when people feel they must pass on the actual shoulder or berm... . as if where they are going is more important than anyone else out there. .
