After my last trip south camping and towing my trailer I was fed up with the noise leval inside the cab. Acutally I've been fed up with for a long time and have been using my Scout more and more because it's quieter. I had some left over Quiet Car sound proofing, about 3. 5 gal and used it on the floor and the rear wall of the cab in my Dodge. I'm now getting a reading of 79db on the A scale, thats a 7 db drop from the way it was. I'm also running a mud tyre that helps with more cab noise.
So now I can listen to the radio, music at low levers at 65mph and actually injoy the ride! I'ts almost as quite as my wife's 94 CTD (74db).
