Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Fuel leak

Hello gents, I think I may have some kinda problem with the fuel solenoid or the relay??? Lately when I try to start the truck sometimes it just clicks, like the batteries are dead, and doesn't turn over. However I know the batteries are not dead, they are in fact new and the voltage checks out. Other times when I try the key a few times the truck will start. Once it starts it runs fine.

Any ideas out there?

Take care of them quick the battery side contact can wear down really low and that will cause the plunger to get cockeyed causing the starter to keep running and the posibility of damaging the fuel shutoff solenoid. ( Mine kept running a few times but never damged the relay but I would disconnect the fuel shutoff solenoid connector. (If you have an auto trans you can beat on the starter, manual trans you put in high gear and let the clutch in and out a few times. Read this in an old Basic Auto Mechanics Magazine. The clutch trick worked for me. )
