I installed a #11 plate and 3K gov springs in a 97 215 HP 5 speed and Gauges. The most boost I can get is 26 psi and the pyro (post turbo) only gets to about 800*F. I slid the plate and the AFC all the way FWD and lossend the AFC spring to get the 26 psi boost. The truck pulls fairly hard to about 2500 rpm then it falls on its face. It smokes a little on the bottom end but none on the Top. I feel something may be wrong. I also checked that the lever is hitting the nose on the cam plate, which it is!
Maybe I did not tighten the Gov springs enough. I measured the distance before I removed all the stock springs and set the hight to the same spec. . 060"
I will check fuel pressure after I buy a new banjo bolt.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Malcolm
