Which Turbo comes on these 5.9s?

I should know this coming from a 2nd gen, but looking for an "07" with a 5.9 to buy and not sure if all these come from the factory with HX40s? or do they still use the HX35? The first Mod I do on anything I buy is make it heard. And I've heard these newer than mine common rail 5.9s with straight pipes and they really Growl, a bit more than mine with a straight thru 5" exhaust. OK thank you in advance on your help.

Yes, it’s a completely different exhaust elbow.

What Years came with the HX40 or were they put on other applications like Motor homes etc?

5.9’s never came with a HX40. HX40’s are reserved for 8.3 Cummins.

The 5.9’s only had the H1C, HX35, HY35, HE351.

Other applications like farm tractors have a smaller turbo than HX35 with no wastegates for lower hp.
