The Night before Christmas

Like "rolling coal" ??

the most smoke i have ever seen came out of a 95 p-pump truck. hoooollllllyyyy cow did that thing thore smoke. it was smoking just idling. i had no idea that trucks could blow that much smoke. this guy put 485hp but had enough fuel for 685 he needed some nitrous.

Racing p pumps blow smoke like you would not believe. !

I dont think the comp thows smoke like this am i wrong?

Even mildly modified p-pumps can blow way more smoke with OEM injectors than any 24-valve with electronics mods and OEM injectors.

The 'clean burn' technology that Cummins put into the 24-valve sorta helps eat all the smoke.

If you start getting into 24-valves with aftermarket injectors or p-pumps... . then all bets are off - they smoke like they run on coal.

Matt

My friend has a seriously modified P-pump on a 24 valve and just for fun we pulled out the spring in the afc housing. Anything below 15psi boost it will fuel so hard it will put the fire out, the smoke turns to white as the motor bogs!!! But talk about smoke cloud!:D He filled the grand stands at the local drag strip like I have never seen. P-pumps are cool:cool:

Girlfriend's kiddies (little girls) prefer to ride in my truck because it smokes.

We were running around today and I dialed in 5x5 for 'em. I had a little cheering section in the back seat rooting on every lugged shift. Oo.

You too?

Except the cheering isn't always the kids..... I've even had a guy next to me give me a big 'ole thumbs up after puffin' some serious smoke.

I was on the way home from work today, just cruising in normal afternoon traffic, when some idiot in a little mercury 4 door gets so close, I cannot see his headlights. . After 4 warning clouds, I get a little highway open ahead for a full-on smoking! I move over, as I am always in the left lane; center the pipe on his car, which the windows WERE down, despite the 105° heat, and I laid the go pedal to the floor. . it took a few seconds, but right at about 10 PSI is where I get the most smoke! Anyways, he backed off after that, and tried to pass me, but got stuck behind me again, though not nearly as close!! Oh well, he got what he needed! raw #2 on a hot summer's day!

Do noise stories count? Got my truck straight piped just yesterday and today took 17 year old son and his 3 buddies out for pizza. When we left the pizza place, they were riding in the back and asked me to start off in third and smoke the place out.

Didn't get a lot of smoke, but the noise set off every car alarm in the parking lot! People running everywhere and teenage boys standing up and cheering... I don't know whether to hide or be proud!

Well, let's just say that dd2s fuel enough for serious smoke at 9000 feet. We were up in Rocky Mtn national park, and there were some cyclists that were taking up the whole lane-- you know the "same rules, same road" crowd. I blasted them with a cloud so serious that they stopped riding and waited for it to clear!!

I never understood why they fel the need to go 5mph uphill at 9000 feet.

HOHN

Those "Same Rules, Same Road" people are also the same people who run red lights and use the crosswalk when it's convenient for them. I could make a living just ticketing these people, if I was a Police Officer... :)

Oh yeah, and uhhh... ... Smoke.

why ride 5mph at 9,000 feet?

to get to 10,000 feet. DUH.

I don't know why other cyclists want to ride roads period. I live for the dirt.

Cyclists are killed by motorists quite often. It's pretty rare that a cyclist causes a motorist to be killed.

I don't approve of 2 wide riding with traffic around, but SHARE THE ROAD is one of the stickers on my truck. ;)

One more thingy. Those motorist that are so anxious to get around the bike going uphill, are the same ones in the cyclist's way going down.

I can't stand it when any bicyclist takes up the lane with cars piling up behind them. That's ridiculous, screw sharing the road, it was built for cars not bikes. Ride on the right side in the little bike lane/berm if theres no sidewalk, otherwise get on the damn sidewalk. A big middle fingers to bikers that ride in the middle of the lane:eek:

Oh yeah, I agree on those holding up traffic, oblivious to what is going on. I do have to ride on the road some for training, and get pretty hot about the cars that don't give us any room when there's plenty of it. I stay 3-4 feet off the white line for the sake of visibility and then move over to 6-10 INCHES when a car comes up. It helps them know the I KNOW they're back there and I'm not going to be swerving into them. Most folks try not to smash cyclists. ;)

BUT riding on the sidewalk is illegal in my state.

Bikes are covered under the same laws as motor vehicles and MV's aren't allowed on the sidewalk. :D

HEY back to the SMOKE. Them DD3's I just popped in will be HELLL on the next tailgater I fog. :p

Yeah.. this really sucks...

Truck is down and, tomorrow I will be dropping the 5600 out from underneath it to see what the hell is wrong with it. . It makes me so mad to not be able to smoke someone tailgating me, especially in a POS PSD, or a waxy maxipad. . All I can do right now is either brake check them, or just hold them up, and slow down... #ad
Either that, or it's #ad
... Oh well, Have to get the truck running, hopefully back by next weekend. . GOT TO PUT A RUSH ORDER ON IT!!! hehehe, oh well, have to see how the cookie crumbles...

Leaving the a Co. Fair Truck/Tractor pull tonight. Some diptwit was up my pipe in standstill traffic. My GF couldn't see the car and said "what, there's a car _between_ you and the Ford?"

I let a poof go sitting still and it just laid there. So when we got past the traffic directing cops I laid down some soot. Made two cars change lanes immediately. Oo.

VERY true. Except for at RMNP-- the roads are too twisty, so NO one can go that fast going down. The only fast way down is freefall over the edge...

jlh

smoke stickers

bikes--The twistier it is the greater the speed differential. Cyclist only has to make 175# change directions.

smoke--

Hey how about a sticker that says "If you can read this, you're about to see my mosquito fogger in action!

Or "Tailgaters should open windows and sunroof. "

Or "It's SUPPOSED to do THAT!"
