Was thinking the same thing ,for my 2007 i was going to try Carli but the Kore on my 2001 has been great----better stay with them.

I went with Kore also. I have heard a little bad and a lot of good about them. I'm doing the install next week myself so no worries!

Okay foolkiller you need to just relax take a deep breath and access the situation. You are the only one the one and only one that has complained about Carli Suspension their products there service and now their ball joint. Out of almost a thousand ball joints your the person that has this problem. ONLY YOU. I am starting to feel that you have an agenda with these guys and your looking to find problems with your truck.

dan. poitras, trust me get the ball joints they will be the last ones you buy for your fleet. And customer service is extremely good excellent.

And to everyone else reading these posts take it with a grain of salt because, my personal opinion is that foolkiller is just a serious pain in the *** that says he can do it all himself but keeps letting other people work on his truck.

Jake= flame suit on:eek:

now here's someone who's "in the tank" for carli... .

anyone who does a quick search on your posts will easily see who your pals are here... ... if you've had good luck with these clowns, good for you. i'm expressing MY experiences and would have absolutely LOVED to have just reported that everything went great with the job. but it didn't.

since you've expressed your personal opinion of me... . you can sure bet i've formed one of you.

not sure why you'd feel so strongly about my opinions/experiences to warrant an attack..... maybe you could explain? could it be we're talking about your pals?

now anyone reading should consider this "pal's" relationship with carli before they pay more than a grain of salt to the "trust me" statements.

let me ask you this..... lets say it's a million good experiences to MY one bad... . does that make it right? another weak attempt at an excuse..... the carli camp must practice this.

you're starting to feel i have an agenda??? let me clear it up for you slick.....

my agenda is to report getting taken for a ride by these clowns so others can watchout for it. if it hurts the shop..... GOOD, i hope it hurts at least as much as it did me. does that clear up the agenda thing for you genius?

Your agenda is pretty clear to rip on Carli when YOU have not contacted them after this ball joint issue to resolve. So how did they rip you off if you don't give them a chance to work w/ the problem. I did not read anything about you calling them to let them know.

So if one Dodge CTD has a problem then all Dodge CTD's suck? Even w/ quality control there can be a bad item/product slip thru.

Catching my point?;)

No matter how good a product is, there are going to be failures as is the case with the ball joints. The question on that issue is, did Carli do anything, or make any effort to fix/correct the issue? They obviously didn't do that hub install correctly and didn't make any effort to help you. Not good and not consistent with their reputation. (Only way to do it right is to do it yourself). Bad for there shop, but now the question is how are they handling the issue with there products. I intent to buy their ball joints when needed and for $500 they better work.

I'm not sure if any of the Carli guys are on here to speak for themselves... But I've had multiple dealings with them over the past 6 months, and they have gone above and beyond every time.

In fact, I'd say their customer service rivals that of any company I've every dealt with... on the same par with Peter at SouthBend.

Have you talked to Sage or Mike about it? I'm not saying there's not a problem with your ball joint, but maybe things just got started out on the wrong foot?

For what it's worth, I have tried to order Carli stuff through other vendors, and have had problems every time. Every time I've contacted Carli directly, they've literally jumped through hoops to make things right, and make sure I had what I needed.

Hope things turn out for you!

Your to much man, slick. Pal's yes especially when they offer to follow you all the way home to see how the rear of the truck is handling the expansion joints on the highway. Sage followed me on a 40 minute trip just to see if I was satisfied, you wouldn't want to be pals with these guys. They bring all their equipment out to our outings and work on our trucks for free, even if it is a competitors suspension pal's yes with this kind of service not only for the locals but who ever has their stuff.

I hope it works out for you and your truck. Good Luck man.

got carli on the phone this morning... ... . they were willing to do whatever i wanted to get the ball joint fixed and make up for even the billing changes and mistakes during the first visit... .

too bad it took 5 months.

this morning i agreed to take my truck to them on saturday. i really don't want their hands on my truck again so when i got off work, i called them to just send me a joint so i can install it myself. which is what i shoulda done to begin with.

still not sure if i'm going to install their replacement joint or remove both and install the moogs yet... . ALL the joints, one carli and two moogs, and the tools to press em in and out are in the mail so i have time to think about it.

but thanx to them anyway for the offer.

no i don't catch your point... . you're saying that i should have just rolled over about the first visit and given them some type of professional courtesy on the second issue??

if your opinion is that this is not in the category of rip off that's cool by me... . i'm not convinced that if you were going through this that you'd feel the same as you do now.

i've conceded all along that there are plenty of others who are happy with carli and that i'm only refering to my experiences here.

i've kept ALL my comments on this restricted to this one thread on this one site. i've posted NO coments anywhere else with the exception of one IM to a member that asked me to give them a follow up..... all the while i have read post after post after post from the "carli usual suspects" pawning the shop at any and every opportunity in other threads every day. i've read them all and NOT ONCE have interferred in any of those threads NOR challenged any suggestions to others that reccomend the shop.

so the notion that i'm campaining is a bit weak... . and a bit psycho in my opinion.

I agree with you foolkiller. The original price should have been honored and the job done right. I do all the work to my truck unless its warranty, and I only take it to one dodge dealer where I trust the diesel mechanic. This is a perfect example of one dissatisfied customer and how much damage it can do. I think your anger toward this issue is just. Carli should have stepped up a long time ago to help this issue. I was considering their ball joints until I read this and saw the new Diesel Power that had the new ball joints from Dynatrac that look just as tough as Carli's. One more thing for foolkiller about the moogs, I have only seen the uppers in 3 different degree offstes not fixed like the Carli. That might present a problem if you only do that on one side. The Dynatracs might be a great alternative as I will also be installing them when I need ball joints.

what else can i say... . they offered. i personally just don't trust them anymore. i'm sure the odds are in your favor.
