The Night before Christmas

Like "rolling coal" ??

we had a lot of water problems around here lately and I was stuck in a line of traffic going thru a washout. There was a subaru climbing up the back end of my truck so my wife says "smoke 'em a little" and so I did.

Then this subaru gets even closer and when the road was cleared it is right on my back end as I pull out so I gave it all I had and covered the hood with soot.

About an hour later at home the phone rings. turns out the car I smoked was my sister-in-law and she had my little nephew with her. When she realized I was in front of her, she got as close as she could to mess with us. Guess she didn't expect the soot bath. He said "cool, he's got a hemi" when I smoked them. I have a lot to teach him.

smoked a yuppie rich bi&%#

Yes, my first real good smoking,---i was coming to a stop light the other night and happened to pull up beside a new BMW on my drivers side with a rich BIT%# in the passenger seat and her yuppie boy- toy driving. Well it seems she didn't care for my noisy diesel and my gave me the death glare ,which i graciously smiled back and tipped my dirty old "DIESEL WITH ATTITUDE"hat back at her. She decided to put her window up and her man pulled ahead as far as he could, but i'm sure she must of had a neck problem because she keep looking back with these dirty looks. I just sat there waiting for the light ,but my right arm "accidentally"hit the comp box to level 5x5--OOPS. She must of thought it was quiet enough to open her window again after moving ahead, but i couldn't' help my self "to smoke or not to smoke". The light turned green and i hit it in 3rd gear, low boost driving by. (PS----I HAVE DUAL EXHAUST)Lots of unburnt fuel coming out and into that fancy car. I didn't see any more dirty looks as I went by,but heck i couldn't' see the car either . OH WELL SORRY RICH BIT%$,-----I DON'T SMOKE BUT THE TRUCK DOES ----- :D :D :D

Sitting on the off ramp of the highway waiting to turn left this Ford Probe pulls up in the left lane. The light turns green and I start to pull out when I hear the Ford rev up and drop the clutch.

"squeaaal" ooooooo. Big car  Well, I just instinctively floor it and start rowing gears. I grab fourth and I blow by the ford that is still running hard. I get into the left lane where traffic is clear and drop back to the speed limit. As I am coming up to the next light I look in my rear view mirror and the ford is gone... well mostly, but I can see him real good in my side mirror. He is sitting about 6" off my hitch as we are slowing for the light.

I am first in line in the left lane at the light, the ford is all but underneath me, and there is a bus in the right lane. Cool, I reach over to turn on the Edge, slip into third, and the light turns green and I start fogging. All the smoke pours out, and piles up behind me since the bus is doing a wonderful job of not letting it spread out. I can't see anything behind me and I am a good two blocks down the road before I start to see anyone coming around the bus.

The ford stays about 3/4 of a block behind me for a few blocks. Every time he would start running up on me real quick, I would send out a little poof and he would back way off again.

I smoked my wife this weekend and she was a little ticked but you could tell she thought is was a little amusing. :) with the humidity at 98% and 98 degrees you out to see the smoke my old 12v 370's and no plate throws out! the only way i could get more of a cloud is if i had piers stupid pump :)

That is almost better than the intial smoking :D

I love just lettin 2 little "puffs" out when they try and sneak up after being smoked out once already.

I have NO smoke since my AFC spring went back in. . truck had to go back to work today, hauling a 13'6" tall wind drag load. I had to slide the plate WAY back, and put the AFC spring in for EGT control. This stinks! I miss my power!

Cruising down a 2 way street the other night someone got on my a$$ and would not back off. The speed limit was 35 mph and I was doing about 40. Like I said it was at night, I have a dark tinted camper shell and a limo tinted sliding rear window so I could only see rear view mirrors behind me.

Well we finally got to a four way intersection and when I left the stop sign turning left my 370s and B-1 bellowed out all the black smoke they could muster (darkened the whole intersection). When the car behind me went straight under the street light and cleared my smoke screen I saw that it was a city police car:eek: oops!

I believe that if this would have happened in any other state besides good ole' Mississippi I would have had a ticket or at least been pulled over and verbally reprimanded. ;) Just more proof that living in the south has its advantages. :)

As a retired Southern cop, I would have to agree. I now live in Colorado where cops write fellow cops tickets! Not that they shouldn't if the cop deserves one, but it's true that cops down south give people breaks more often than they do here.

I don't know what they do to cops at Colorado rookie schools to take away their sense of humor, but it doesn't serve them or the public well. Better to make friends than enemies. Given the world situation the way it is, cops one day might need all the friends they can get.

Smoke Screen

On my way home today and this mustang comes flying up on my ass and i can't see his car he is so close to my bumper, so i slow down a little and he moves out to pass and i let her rip i got ahead of him and i slowed down so he could catch back up to me and then i smoked him couldn't see the car for a few moments, oops my bad, he stayed back the rest of the way to town and when he went beside to turn in at the gas staion he had his window down so he had to get some smoke in his car. Life is GOOD!!Oo.

man wish i had found this threas sooner. i love going down to Mcallen, ill be lucky if i see 3 other dodge diesels in a weekend lots of strokers and maxes. anyway lots of rice burners love beating them. anyway there was a little mustang convertible on my right side with 3 girls with some crappy music turned way up. got a dirty look when i pulled up of course. well one yelled at me and asked if i could turn engine down because it was too loud ( i started cracking up. ) i just looked at them and pretended that i couldnt hear them and smiled. they peeled outta there like that 6 cylinder was something hot caught up to them at the next light and i get the one finger salute, kinda shocked me. well i start reving and and the driver revs back. by the time i was up to 55 they were about 5 lengths back then i get in front slow down to about 30 ( the road narowed to 2 lanes) fliped the swithed and let it pooouuuurrrr. got up to 55 started making boost slowed back down and did it again. did that for about 2 miles i couldnt stop laughing im sure i put a real bad taste in their mouth about diesels.

I got a BMW 330i this morning, and a Trans Am WS6 this afternoon!

As I was cruising down 281 to work this morning, minding my own business, doing 75 in a 65, this little BMW comes flying up, right on my tail, and around me. This provoked me, so I stomp on it, and soon catch up to the little car. As I go to get around him, she starts playing games, swerving back and forth, not wanting to let me pass. Ok, you are in front! if I hit you, you will spin, not me! So anyways I finally get around her, and lay down the fog... soon after, she backs off at least a ¼ mile or so... whatever, she was a moron for trying to swerve in front of me. .

This afternoon, I was on a connector ramp form I-35N to 281N when a red Trans Am gets on my tailgate, as if to count all the soot spots or something... I lug 5th, and the guy tries to swerve around it, but its kind of hard when you are in the left lane, and there is no shoulder! hahaha, anyways, he goes flying around me, and about 8 miles down the road, I happen to catch up with him, and get on his tail... He slows down, lets traffic clear, and by this time I figure something is up... I drop it down to 5th gear, waiting to see what he does. . sure enough, his back end sits down, and off he goes... well, off I go as well... he walks off at first then my boost kicks in. . As we are flying, I pull up on the side of him and wave. . He would not even look at me. . I gave him a thumbs up as if to say he had a sweet car, but it needed a little more sugar to be sweet enough! Anyways, after that, he slowed down and wouldnt even play anymore! Oh well, I guess he was mad an 8,100 lb truck put an @ss whoopin' on his little sports car! Oh well, it was all good!

Chris, you're one righteous dude!:D

Just a quick one for me. I was at the auto parts place and bumped into a fella with a VW Golf (Non-TDI). We started talking about diesel performance and sharing information. It was pretty cool. Well, yesterday I thought I saw him on the street behind me. So I gave him a salutory fog burst. Whoops! Turned out to be the wrong guy. What are the odds that there would be two screaming yellow early 80's VW Golf Non-TDI's in this small town.

last night I was feeling particularly righteous...

watched a huge piece of trash thrown from the passenger side of a new Acura RSX

got closer and saw that it was a wadded up bag from a fast food joint. we were getting up to a light, and I got next to the car and saw a guy and his girlfriend sucking on fountain drinks from said fast food joint.

He musta got the vibe that I was ****** off and was gonna make some smartass quip like, "ever heard of a trash can?" or "do you crap in your living room?". Possibly embarassed that his girlfriend threw it out, but nevertheless when we got to the stop light, he lagged back and didn't get next to me.

when the light changed, he sill lagged back... I pulled away really slow and he wouldn't get next to me. he's in the left lane, I'm in the middle lane.

so what does this kid do? he decides to whip around me and pass me in the RIGHT lane. hehehe... big mistake! LOL!

I was cruising in 3rd at about 20mph and just laid into it... it was the fog out of the century (did I mention their windows were down?)

so a little bit down the road, he tries a fly by again, and I lay into it in 4th and proceed to drag his ass while filling his car AGAIN w/ smoke.

I can't stand people who litter.

Medium smoke is better than nothing...

Fellers -

I just took a long trip this weekend. You should read about it:

The rest of the story

Coming south-bound on I-75 into Chattanooga, TN area, I start up White Oak Mountain, just south of the Ooltewah exit. The hill is steep, but pretty short.

I was pulling my enclosed trailer with a car in it. About 8,000 lbs. worth I'm guessing.

I start up the hill with nobody in front of me, I'm in the slow lane. The speed limit up the hill is 65, I'm doing about 70.

This lady comes around me, gets in front of me and immediately goes to zero throttle. I run all up on her rear and am on the brakes. I'm a bit ticked at this point. Only thing I can figure is that there is construction on the other side of this hill, but plenty of time to slow down at the top or coming down the other side.

So I throw it out in the left lane when I get the chance, pull up beside her (even up the hill, it was easy to do in 5th). As I just pulled ahead of her I shifted to 6th and eased my trailer just over the line toward her and laid into it.

It made a pretty impressive cloud all over her. She got the picture real quick that she made me mad, with the double whammy - a crowding & a good size black cloud. I think most people think I make a ton of smoke, my wife does, but most people haven't seen what you real smokers can do. I give it a solid, "medium" smoke rating under that condition (pulling the trailer up a hill at low rpm). Otherwise, empty its rated at "low-medium" smoke with 275's & EZ.

I felt much better after my reciprocal action, it gave me closure. :D

A couple of days ago the part timer college kid that works with me went to the back of my truck to load something in. When he walked around to the passenger door I hit the throttle just as he passed the tailpipe. A large cloud puffed out and threatened to engulf him. He lept up and over the smoke. In my mirror, it looked like he was walking on smoke :-laf

WOW SEmerson! Wish mine made that much. But I'm working on it.

Last summer I was driving a PSD. I had straight piped it. So it was loud and smoked since it burned oil along with not burning some fuel. Good mix! Well some retard with a convertable Mazda Miata was playing his rap music so loud it was drowning out my own evil thoughts. We were at a light that lasts a while and he was trapped in the right lane. I rolled up to the guy infront of me pretty close so I could line up my tail pipe. And stomped it to 2800 and held it until the light went green. Smoke, noise, smell. I had it all. I got the 1 finger salute. Of course he rolls up his window but the top is still down. So he had to put his top up.
